Nazia Malik is an independent realtor brokered by Peak Realty. For the launch of her and her team's new business, she approached us to help create a website that showcased MLS real estate listings incorporating her unique brand. She also wanted to onboard a lead nurturing program for her real estate leads and an online marketing strategy.

Built a Website Integrated with MLS Listings

After a thorough review of the industry and competition, we found that real estate company’s typically operate two sites for 2 different purposes and that is what was set up for Naz.

Unbranded real estate site

The purpose of this site is strictly to generate leads. Passive researchers are more likely to provide their contact information to a company that didn’t have a specific agent associated with it. A site where people didn’t feel as though they were going to be sold to right away. The site needed a real estate template with Internet Data Exchange (IDX) integration, an easy to use interface and rules that required visitors to create an account before viewing home listings.

Branded site

Naz had already established her brand guidelines so we worked together to find a website theme that aligned with her branding and could display MLS listings.

Once we chose the template, we leveraged iHomeFinder as it was cost effective and had a built in lead program to nurture leads for more than 30 days.

Once the site was built and the plugins were integrated, we customized Naz’s site specifically for her region, tailored the website content as needed and started to work on a lead focused marketing strategy.

A Savvy Digital Marketing Strategy

The marketing was tackled in 2 parts:

Awareness

Naz needed to promote herself as an independent realtor. We set her up on Google My Business, Facebook account and connected to her YouTube and Instagram accounts. Naz started generating traction by ensuring her clients left reviews on Google, plus she kept engaging her network with relevant blog/vlog content.

Leads

There are many businesses that sell their services to real estate agents with the promise of generating leads, however they’re quite expensive. Rather than spend 10x the cost to go with a company, we suggested we set up our own grassroots Search Engine Marketing (SEM) campaign that would direct to her unbranded site. This strategy quickly became effective at generating 70 -100 leads per month at an affordable cost.
